I received my Bachelors of Science in Geology: Earth & Space Science, from Illinois State University, which ranks as one of the top ten teacher preparation institutions in the nation. While at Illinois State, I completed a diatom-based paleolimnology independent study, which was used in conjunction with other data to form a paleoclimatology timeline of the Great Basin. Since graduating in 2008, I have been teaching at Payson High School. In 2016, while teaching full-time, I completed my Masters of Science from Montana State University. My emphasis within this program was Physics/Astronomy. Courses of Special Interest include: Comparative Planetology, Special Relativity, and Quantum Mechanics.
